Drinks at The Mitre

At The Mitre, we take our drinks seriously—but never ourselves. Whether you’re here for a crisp pint, a bold red, or something a little stronger, you’ll find a carefully chosen range of beverages that reflect our passion for quality and local flavour.
We don’t believe in overwhelming choice for the sake of it—just a well-balanced bar, with something for everyone.

Cask Ales & Craft Beer

  • Always on Tap: Expect trusted favourites like Timothy Taylor’s Boltmaker & Ossett Brewery's Yorkshire Blonde.
  • Rotating Cask Lines: Weekly-changing beers from independent breweries across the UK.
  • Craft & Keg: A selection of modern craft lagers, hazy IPAs, and stouts from respected producers like Harbour, Beavertown & Thornbridge.
  • Real Ciders: Such as Taste of Summer by Brays of Buckingham.
All our cask ales are cellar-kept, hand-pulled, and served at their best.

Lager & Continental Beers

For those who prefer a clean, cold pour—we offer premium lagers both domestic and continental.
  • Favourites include: Birra Moretti, San Miguel, Harbour Singlefin, Peroni & Leffe.
  • On rotation: Limited-edition lagers and sessionable brews from smaller producers

Spirits & Cocktails

We stock a thoughtful range of small-batch and premium spirits, perfect for sipping or mixing. Our team are always happy to recommend pairings.
  • Gin: From juniper-forward London Dry to flavoured modern varieties. Fever-Tree tonic as standard.
  • Whisky: A selection spanning Highland single malts, Irish smooth blends, and a few smoky surprises.
  • Rum, Vodka, Tequila: Classics and craft options alike, perfect in a simple serve or with a twist.

Low & No Alcohol

We believe everyone deserves a good drink—whether you’re drinking alcohol or not.
  • Alcohol-free drinks: Peroni, Moretti, Guinness 0%, (Microdraught), Proper Job (ale), Ghost Ship (ale), Nozecco Sparkling Rose, Old Mout Cider, Tanqueray Gin.
